Private Commission - Bristol
Art Direction / Illustration / Spray Painting
My first attempt at utilising spray paints as a medium which I then hand painted the black linear elements. I thoroughly enjoyed this project, created on a wall approx 2.5 x 4 metre in size, rendered and prepped specifically for this project. Future works will integrate typography and patterning as I attempt to expand on my technique and establish my style.

Xero - Accounting Software
Art Direction / Illustration / Digital Design / Painting
Website
How do you visualise data? Cloud data to be precise. When Xero expressed the desire to create an attractive piece of art to enhance their head office, this was the challenge I set to myself. Working with Christine Prince - Head of Workplace Experience, we developed the concept of visualising the very thing that makes Xero possible, translating the physical into the digital and back again. The resulting piece consists of a tsunami of data, interacting with iconic buildings from across the globe: New Zealand, US, Canada, UK and Asia.
Minirig - Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Art Direction / Stand Design / Live Art
Website
This unique project consisted of both digitally designed elements and freehand ‘Live Art’ created during the event at BPM, Birmingham. The concept of the stand draws on the company’s unique engagement with its customer base and the passion around the product. The key elements of the overall design are the products unique features (center) and its global reach and engagement from its social streams (right-hand side). The mural created during the event was based on the concept of the ‘evolution of sound’, from the caveman to the gramophone, with the Minirig itself bieng the latest stage of the evolutionary journey.
Moor Beer Co - Brewery
Live Art / Illustration / Painting
Website
I was invited to create a live piece at the product launch of Moor Beer Co, at the old Tobacco Factory, Bristol UK. All I knew going into this was that I wanted to create a mystical piece, one that positions Moor as established, with depth and intrigue. I had no idea of how large the canvas would be, where it would be positioned, nor the shape. I wanted to create a shrine like structure around the outer edges which ended up being formed from apparatus used to brew beer. The almost Masonic, mystical, yet humorous nature of the piece captured the kind of feel I was aiming for, horray for spontaneity!
